AriseEnsembles represents conservatoire ensembles and gives them a head start into the professional music environment in Europe before graduation. Our artists and ensembles have all they need to enter the international music stage, apart from representation and connections.

And that's where AriseEnsembles enters the picture.

We ensure not only professional level music making but also professional performance culture before, during, and after concerts. Working with local consultants in the United Kingdom, Denmark, Norway, and Holland, we provide our talented musicians entering the world stage with sustainable partners both musically, professionally, and socially. Our mission is to give our artists all the tools they need to carry on their brilliant work independently and professionally after they graduate.

  • Laura Kjærgaard

    Laura Kjærgaard

    Director, United Kingdom

    Laura studied saxophone at The Royal Danish Academy of Music and at The Royal Northern College of Music. She Co-founded and chaired the Danish Youth Wind Orchestra. From 2016-2018 she studied conducting at the Malko Academy for Young Conductors. In 2020 she started the Girton Conducting Course in Cambridge of which she’s still the administrator, and in 2022 she worked as Freelance Administrator for Rayfield Allied, London.

  • Marcus Nielsen

    Marcus Nielsen

    Consultant, Norway

    Marcus studied oboe at The Royal Danish Academy of Music and at Norwegian Academy of Music. Having performed at multiple venues outside larger Danish cities, he has years of experience arranging concerts with people who aren’t used to musicians visiting. Through this experience, he also easily forms a personable, inclusive relationship with everyone around him.

  • Helene Schrøder

    Helene Schrøder

    Consultant, Holland

    Helene studied flute at The Royal Danish Academy of Music and at Royal Conservatoire Den Haag. Growing up amongst church musicians, she has a wide experience of arranging and performing at local churches creating long-lasting relations. Having played in many chamber music constellations, she has an extensive knowledge of how to plan repertoire that suits the individual venue.
